Singing in Praise and Worship is such a wonderful experience and I love watching the faces of all of the people in the congregation as they sing with heart felt emotion. I know that this is my calling and that, as long as I aspire to do so, God will bless me with the gift of music in order to share his word and love to others.

My name is Melissa Mangual. I am 30 years old. I was born in Staten Island, NY but have lived in Plantation, FL since the age of 10. I am a single mom to 2 beautiful children. I am currently a property manager of a rental community. Plantation Seventh-Day Adventist Church has been my church home for the past 7 years. I began singing in the Adventist church at the age of 5 so music has definitely been a huge part of my life. I like various genres of music from contemporary christian to gospel. Some of my musical inspiration comes from contemporary artists such as Francesca Battistelli, Kari Jobe, and Laura Story just to name a few. As a member of the Praise & Worship ministry, I have shared the stage with some of the most amazing people but most importantly, I have been able to minister to thousands through the gift God has blessed me with. Singing for me is much more than just singing a song, it is a willingness to exalt God and yield to His will. I believe Worship Leading is what God has called me to do and in accepting the calling, I have learned to not only worship God in singing but in every action, in everyday of my life.
